Dinner Is Set

Dear friends,

Venner opened its doors nearly six months ago, but the philosophy guiding our kitchen has been shaped over many years of cooking, learning and thinking about what makes a memorable meal. Over that time, one belief has remained constant: the best dining experiences are those where every course belongs to something greater than itself.

That belief has led us to an important decision. We have moved entirely to a set menu experience for dinner. While our à la carte offering taught us a great deal in our opening months, it also confirmed something we already suspected. The most honest expression of Venner is one where every dish is considered as part of a complete journey, rather than a collection of individual choices.

A set menu gives our kitchen the freedom to cook with greater precision and purpose. Each course builds naturally into the next. Flavours rise and soften. Richness gives way to restraint before building again. Like a well-composed piece of music, every moment has its place. Nothing exists in isolation.

It also allows us to stay true to the seasons. Our menus will continue to evolve throughout the year, shaped by the produce arriving at our door and the people who grow it. The framework remains familiar, but every visit offers something new. It is this balance between consistency and surprise that defines many of the world’s most thoughtful restaurants and, increasingly, what defines Venner.

Something else happens when guests place their trust in the kitchen. The evening becomes less about deciding what to order and more about discovering what comes next. Our chefs are free to focus entirely on execution, rhythm and hospitality, while diners are invited to settle in and enjoy the experience as it unfolds.

This feels like an important step for us. Not because the menu is smaller, but because our purpose is clearer. Every plate now speaks the same language.

Dinner is set.
